Howdy! December it's always a chatoic month for me. It's the busiest moment on the Gospel Factory tour (we also recently recorded vocals for Disney's spanish version of The Princess and The Frog) and adding to that I'm recording the album and promotion the No Fui Yo The Remixes project.

Talking about that, I'd like to remind you the dates for the No Fui Yo releases:
4th December will be the date for the physical release
7th December will be the digital release.

You'll find the download links right here as soon as they're available. If you want a physical copy you'll be able to buy it directly from here. Of course fully autographed with all my love (if you want my autograph that's it!)

I hope to see you guys in any of the parties. It'll be fantastic to greet you and have a chat. At the Noovo party (that's the official one, in Reus) I'll do a showcase with three songs from my forthcoming debut album. But it's not only me who's performing. Many exceptional artists from different genres will be there too. It's going to be great! Plus, which each ticket you buy, you'll get a free No Fui Yo Cd!!

Visit my Myspace for full details on the parties and to listen to the full No Fui Yo (Despacio edit).

Some of my anglophone friends have asked me what No Fui Yo is about. I've done a rough translation of the lyrics so you get a better idea. Anything for you guys!

Also here's a link to an interview I did for the fantastic fashion blog "Gentlemen & Cavaliere". It includes a new photo from the photoshoot I recently did with italian photographer Vincent Urbani. You'll soon see more of it.

"I told you, that I would wait for you until the end of time
You didn't care that for you I spent centuries without sleeping

No, it wasn't easy pretending like that
Shipwrecking on an never ending puddle

No, no, no...

Your lies keep on falling around me just like rain
Being wet doesn't scared me, it's just frustration
You always swear you've changed and all that has gone away
Far is never too much, it's you who lied to me it wasn't me
It wasn't me

When you'll be once again, remembering yesterday stories
Withouth mercy you'll come back to his arms to pretend
That with his kisses you calm your anxiety
Just looking for shelter after the storm

No, no, no...

Your lies keep on falling around me just like rain
Being wet doesn't scared me, it's just frustration
You always swear you've changed and all that has gone away
Far is never too much, it's you who lied to me it wasn't me
It wasn't me

It's when the clock marks ten o'clock
and lights start to dim..

Your lies keep on falling around me just like rain
Being wet doesn't scared me, it's just frustration
You always swear you've changed and all that has gone away
Far is never too much, it's you who lied to me it wasn't me
It wasn't me"

Besos.

Well, well, well... singing in fron of the Spanish Royal Family was pretty good fun. As I previously said, I'm not the biggest monarchy fan around, but it was fantastic seing future historic figures singing and dancing with what your band is playing. I had loads of fun too even tho I was really sick. It also got pretty mediatic too.

We even got mentioned in the own Royal Family website!

Gospel Factory is the shit (I'm sorry to be the one saying this, but it's the truth!) There isn't a concert or gig in which the public doesn't get surprised and ask for an encore. The event served to commemorate the 20th aniversary of Fuden -Nursery development foundation- and I even found out my mum is a

collaborator as I met some of her work colleages at the after cocktail. The Prince and Princess attended the even and didn't stop dancing and singing our songs. Seing our glamourous Princess playing with us was totally unspected and fabulous. They even forgot about protocol and went on stage to congratulate each of us shaking our hands in which seemed to me like a very honest and sincere gesture. After the gig, we blended with the crowd at the cocktail and I can't even count the amount of pictures we got taken and the number of nice words we heard. I felt incredibly grateful, that's the biggest payment an artist can get after a performance (other than the cash, that's it).

Thank you so much to every blogger who attended and later commented it on their blogs, even those who compared me to some Gospel influenced-Bustamante (an spanish singer famous for comming from one of those talent shows). What you guys don't know is that I do a pretty impressive impersonation of his singing...

The day after I went to Alicante where the rehearsals for Oke's tour started, which first concert took place at Sala Vivero in Málaga.

Back home at last, I hope I have a few days for me without having to take planes, trains, vans or anything like that.

I'm suppoused to tell all about another song from my album, right? Let's se...

"Mal, mal, mal"

This song which has a clearly Motown-esque sound to it is one the most free-and-easy of them all. It's a bit of an auto-love (not masturbation you perv!) and pride exaltation as a surviving method chant in spite of feeling propperly broken hearted. It's in spanish and it goes something like this: "Looking back with all the naivety of being 20 with a negligent heart. I felt like growing up fast and so did my cynism I crossed the line and forgot about dignity" (totally free translation, it does make sense in spanish) Can't wait for you to hear this one specially!

The tv ad for which I've recorded vocals it's being shown on tv a lot now. It's really funny seing another person singing with you voice (a propper actor's work as I had to modify my voice a lot too). I'm the last soloist of the ad, the one with the laptop. Video here.

OH! I've been linned up for a collaboration on someone's album. It's super special as it's from another continent. I can't say anymore yet, but it's going to be wicked. I'll keep ya posted.

See you soon, XXX.
